4 June 2025 - We’re excited to share the launch of an animation that brings the DUSTER project to life!
Lunar dust is not just a nuisance—it’s one of the biggest technical and safety challenges for future Moon missions. It’s sharp, sticky, and potentially harmful to both astronauts and equipment. The DUSTER project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme, is working to better understand how lunar dust behaves under different conditions, with the goal of making space exploration safer and more sustainable.
This short video explains the problem—and how DUSTER is tackling it.
