Students enjoy a Meet & Greet with Sylvain Ranvier on the topic of lunar dust
25 April 2024 - Today was the 13th edition of the ASGARD at the Space Pole in Uccle! More than 100 high school students, both from Belgium and internationally, came on site to launch their scientific experiments aboard one of two stratospheric balloon in the framework of the ASGARD balloon project, led by the Belgian space teacher Erik de Schrijver. The students followed several scientific workshops and were able to meet scientists from the Royal Observatory of Belgium, the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium, and the Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy during a Meet & Greet. At BIRA-IASB, our project PI Sylvain Ranvier talked to the next generation of STEM students about his work within the DUSTER project.
